![]() Thank you to all those who cheered me on during AP tests. I think I did pretty well on the Bio one, so I'm quite satisfied with my progress. It was a huge coincidence that the only hormone I know (glucagon) was a free response question. So I ended up buying the dress I planned on getting off of eBay and it arrived in time for SuperProm. I also had to do some last-minute shopping to throw my outfit together, but surprisingly it went rather smoothly. Everything was going all right, but SuperProm itself wasn't as great as I expected. Maybe it's because my expectations were too high, or because the name SuperProm led me astray. Either way, it ended up being like a concert due to the celebrities who were there rapping away. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. We got back home at about three in the morning, loaded with free goodies from Dell. The following weeks after prom were pretty chill in terms of school work, or at least I was taking it way too easy despite the many end-of-the-school-year projects that teachers managed to pile on top of us. But I still managed to finish everything by staying up really late and magically found time to The last day of Chinese school ever also came to pass. It was kind of sad how I'll never see any of these guys ever again and how we sort of bonded as a class (of seven people) despite the fact that everyone came on different days. Now that I look back, it was pretty amusing since we all shared the same laziness in that we never studied and we always spoke English during class instead of Chinese. It's kind of hard for me to imagine that I'll never have to go back there after thirteen long years of Chinese school. I'm glad it's over though since my Fridays are now officially free! This weekend was the Memorial weekend, which also means the last break before school ends. I can't believe that there's only two weeks of school left - senior finals and our finals. Anyway, I decided to spend this weekend chilling in front of my computer and doing absolutely nothing. I ended up going out shopping with two friends on Saturday and spent the rest of the weekend having a Lord of the Rings marathon, which was a lot of fun. I'm so glad that school is almost over since it has been one heck of a year. But it'll also be really sad in that all the seniors are leaving and that I'll be a senior in two week's time. Wow, I'm getting old. On a more exciting note, the Yearbook dance is on Friday, and we finally get our yearbooks, which look absolutely gorgeous! I'm so excited! Safire Day is also coming up very soon... in 9 days! I'm getting so old now... and I still can't drive! Glompages: ♥ |
