end of march!

It's finally the end of March and nearly the beginning of April!

I can't wait for spring break, which is when I get to go to Oregon for the JEA Journalism Convention! I also have to participate in the write-off too for Yearbook cover and endsheet designs.

Gahh. I'm screwed. I can't think of anything for the given theme! But that's okay, because I have two weeks to think about it.

Anyway, I've been pretty busy for the past week or so with activities like catching pill bugs for a Bio lab and going to an amusement part with friends all while cramming for tests. My grades are dropping faster than rocks, especially my Bio grade. I know; it's pretty depressing, all right. And instead of spending my time being a studious student, I waste my time playing games and watching TV. My life is currently in shambles right now and I have no intention of piecing it back together. I like it this way, even if it does sound somewhat depressing.

I guess that was a bit of an exaggeration. I do focus on my studies, but it's just such a pain sometimes, especially when I'm not in the mood.

Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, I went to the nearby amusement park with a couple of friends on Saturday, which was pretty exciting. One of my friends who was originally going to go ended up dislocating her knee during gymnastics practice, so we bought her a cute stuffed Snoopy in an attempt to compensate for her mishap. But while we were there, it was pretty fun, since I ~~gave my friends opportunities to be adventurous~~ forced my friends onto roller coasters even though they were afraid of them. But after a while, they became accustomed to my wild and unbearable roller-coaster loving self, so they accompanied me on all of the other fun rides that I insisted on trying out, like your typical pirate ship. The day was a lot of fun, and I managed to get away with spending almost no money since lunch and dinner were included. Yep, I restrained myself from buying treats, although my friends treated everyone to funnel cakes and candy.

I feel like this school year is finally drawing to a close with only two more months of hell left. All that remains are AP testing, which are in May. I desperately want to finish this year off quickly and effectively, but in order to do that, I must study.

I'll study my butt off... once I finish this case on Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney.
