flashing weekend? jk.

Wow. My weekend just flashed before my eyes. laugh My laptop has been acting up lately too... every time I physically pull out something from the USB port, the famous Windows blue error screen pops up and forcibly restarts my operating system. How annoying is that? dies

Anyway, my first weekend of the school year was... very restful. I slept a lot... more than I usually do. yes I usually don't like to sleep very much either, so that was very strange. At least I didn't have too much homework this weekend; all I had to do was study for my AP Bio exam on Monday (the third test in a row) and some other random homework here and there. Come to think of it, I still haven't finished my Am. Lit homework... I had better finish that. dies

On Friday, I had a calculus readiness test in math. laugh I wasn't entirely sure if it was hard or not; some of the questions were really odd and asked for really weird things. Maybe I'm just stupid. What if I failed...? But from what I know, I'm not that bad at math... I don't even know anymore. sweat

Speaking of Friday, in yearbook, we were assigned to write fake copy, but I wasn't sure whether or not to do it since I was on the editor staff (even though I'm only assistant, it's still a position). So I asked the editor whether or not I had to do it, and he said no... I could work with him and the other editors on further developing the theme. But... we couldn't get anywhere since the other slaves people in the class kept looking back to see what we were doing and we weren't allowed to tell them the theme or anything related to the theme yet until we're sure that no one is dropping the class. So basically, I wandered around from table to table, looking at what everyone was doing and trying to help some people, since I didn't have to do anything yet while the other editors sat in the back and sort of slacked off. But while I was heading back to the editors after my wandering around the classroom, the teacher suddenly said, "Safire, where's your copy?" in a tone that really irked me. I've been on staff for three years and yet she still thinks I'm nothing. Seriously. I might not be as good as some of the editors, but at least I'm something. Please don't treat me as if I'm something on the bottom of your shoe, Mrs. ____. Have some respect for me. Just because I wasn't sitting at the back with the rest of the editors who weren't actually doing anything doesn't necessarily make me a slacker, okay? It really annoys me that she thinks that I'm not worth it.

After school, I went out with my friends Fia, Tori, and Nana to the Asian plaza for milk tea (I had a huge craving). Stupidly, I forgot to bring a little bag to put my wallet and stuff in, so I had to carry all of it in my hand because we left our heavy school bags at Fia's house. hehe Ah whatever. At least the milk tea was cold (it was very hot that day... it has been really hot for the past few days and finally started cooling down).

That's all for now, I guess. I'm off to finish my Lit homework and study for my AP Bio test. sweat
